• The word count on this site is 200 words minimum. If you feel this is too much, then please don't join. I don't think this is asking for too much to be honest.
• When making an account make sure that your characters name is in all lower case and includes their first, middle and last names.
• There is no limit on the amount of characters you can make. However, before being able to make another character, all previous characters much reach a post amount of 50 from the time they were created. The only time we will cut a person back is if we see they are not as active with their other characters.
• While original’s are allowed, please keep original vampires to a minimum, as they are rare. Also, we are not accepting original witches at the moment.
•We dont mind what pb's people take, as long as the character is not a carbon copy of those they portray in other films/shows.
• While avatars are to be no larger than 100x100 pixels, there’s no exact limit on the size of a signature, as long as it does not stretch out the site. If we see this happening, we will ask you to re-size your signature, or we will do it for you.
• If you are having issues with another player, please feel free to come to an admin about the issue at hand.
• Before making subplots, make sure to fill out the form and have them approved by an admin before you start them.
• While we do not expect perfection when it comes to grammar, punctuation and spelling. We do expect you to do your best. There’s no excuse for constantly misspelling words, as there is a spell checker on the site.
• Posts are to be done in third person.
• God-modding/ power playing is prohibited. What does this mean? Do not move another person’s character. (IE: Stefan shoved Damon hard in the chest.) That is god-modding. The correct way to write that would be something like (IE: Stefan moved to shove Damon hard in the chest.). However, if you do have permission from the person you’re RPing with, then that’s fine. If we find out that you did not ask them, you will be given a warning. Continue to do this, we will give you one more warning before being banned.
• We do not expect you to be at your computer 24/7, let’s face it, there’s more important things that come before computers and RPing. However, we only find it fair that you try to get on at least once a week to reply to threads. Please do not take up a major canon if you will not be on enough. We would like to get the plot moving, we hope you can understand that. Your profile will not be deleted until the next activity check however. Which is about every month or so.
• When registering as a canon PLEASE reserve the character here: heavycross.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=15&page=1
